About COSLISC

Hey! Howdy! G'day! This is the official website for RIT's COSLISC. 'What is COSLISC?' you may ask. I can't believe you don't know (someone's slacking). COSLISC stands for College of Science LGBTQ+ Inclusivity in Science Club of course. Our overlying goal is to spread awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in all science spaces. Even better, we made specific plans for how to do this within the scope of RIT. Since we are science students, what better way to create a sense of community than holding a STEM day? Food, music, and science experiments is the new holy trinity. We also plan to tackled providing gender neutral bathrooms in our science building to give everyone a space where they feel comfortable. Finally, we'd like to hold a speaker series with RIT staff and local queer scientists to hear their experiences, perspectives, advice, etc. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see done, please feel free to email us at (email for coslisc because I procrastinated writing this the night before and can't find the email address lol) Do whatever you need to do to have 20/20 vision, so you can keep a good look out for any and all updates about our club.
